Royal Leamington Spa

This elegant Spa town formally known as Leamington Priors developed as a town at the beginning of the 19th Century.  The Spa waters were apparently known in Roman times and were rediscovered in 1784 by William Abbotts and Benjamin Satchwell.  In 1814 the Royal Pump Rooms & Baths were opened which attracted large numbers of visitors who expected cures from bathing in the pools of salty water.  The “Royal” prefix was granted after visits from Princess Victoria in 1830 and then when Victoria was a Queen in 1858.

Today Royal Leamington Spa is a sought after town, not surprising with all of the beautiful architecture and the setting along the River Leam.  The town has recently been named the 3rd best place to live in the UK by the Times on Monday newspaper.

There are many reasons why Royal Leamington Spa is so popular, we think that the array of independent shops, boutiques, coffee bars, restaurants and bars are top of peoples list of attractions, not to mention all of the wonderful parks and gardens that Leamington Spa has to offer.

The town has excellent connections, with the main line station offering services to London Marylebone in just over 60 minutes and Birmingham New Street in less than 30 minutes.  The M40, M42, M69 and M6 are all easily accessible from Leamington Spa, meaning that it is an excellent base for commuters to many towns across the midland s and beyond.

Our Leamington Spa office is situated on Regent Grove in a beautiful Grade II listed building and has recently been completed refurbished.  The state of the art office has backlit window displays and a large flat screen TV which both showcase all of our properties for sale and to let.  The warm and friendly office has a relaxed customer seating area where we are delighted to discuss your moving plans.
